| Vacation Time |
Three weeks vacation +4 days during either Christmas or New Year's winter holiday in addition to time off for conferences.
|
| Educational Conference |
PGY-2 and PGY-3 levels may attend an educational conference with reimbursement up to $1,500 for one week. PGY-1 residents attend the AAFP Scientific Assembly as a class. The 2007 dates are 10/3/07-10/7/07.

| Sick Leave |
Residents are entitled to five (5) days of paid sick leave every year.
|
| Parental Leave |
Residents may use a combination of "paid" or "unpaid" leave for a total of 6 weeks maternity, 2 weeks paternity, or 2 weeks adoption leave.

| Living Quarters |
Living quarters are furnished by the hospital when the resident is scheduled for overnight duty. The resident lounge is equipped with computers, television, resident mailboxes, and a ping pong table.

| Health and Dental Insurance |
The hospitalization and dental programs are available to residents and
their immediate families with the resident paying a portion of the total
premiums.
|
| Prescription Savings |
Residents may purchase prescription drugs at the hospital pharmacy at
cost, plus a handling charge.
|
| Life Insurance |
Group term life insurance is offered at several levels to help meet your
need for financial protection. The cost varies depending upon the amount
of insurance you choose.

| Disability Insurance |
Disability insurance is provided for each resident at no cost to the
resident.
|
| Professional Liability Insurance |
Riverside's self insurance program assumes liability for the acts of all
house staff members incurred in the performance of normal duties.
Liability coverage is as follows:
- The self retention level is $4,000,000 for any one medical incident.
- The self retention level is $10,000,000 for the annual aggregate.
- Above these limits, we carry a $45,000,000 umbrella policy through
Intel Health Services Insurance Company Ltd.

Complimentary meals are provided to all house staff members while on
duty in the hospital.

| Parking |
Ample, well lighted parking is available at no cost.
|
| Uniforms |
Lab coats and scrubs are provided to residents at no cost.
|
| Recreation Program |
Utilization of the McConnell Heart Health Center for physical fitness and other wellness activities is available to residents free of charge.
