Students in their third or fourth years of medical school are welcome to spend a month at Riverside completing a family practice or other specialty rotation. Students have found this to be an excellent way to become acquainted with the family practice program, its residents, and Riverside. Fourth year medical school students are welcome for a four to six week rotation. During this rotation, students are exposed to outpatient medicine including the many community clinics the program covers. Students will participate in the Deleware County Women's Health Clinic, Whetstone Nursing Home, Children's Community Clinics, and care of office patients at the Family Practice Center. Students are always welcome to join our in-patient team for a feel of our service dynamics. Students can work with other students, as Ohio State College of Medicine 3rd years rotate year round. 3rd year MCO students frequently rotate with the program, as well as many 4th year Ohio State, MCO, and NEOUCOM medical students.
