Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, OhioHealth is an integrated, regional health system with a presence in Ohio for more than 100 years.The system includes five member, community owned hospitals and three community-owned hospitals operated under management contracts. The system centers around strong representation from more than 2,500 physicians, including a partnership with the Medical Group of Ohio (MGO), an independent organization of nearly 1,200 physicians. OhioHealth provides managed care health benefit plans through OhioHealth Group, a limited liability company that is a 50 50 partnership between OhioHealth and MGO physicians. The system includes a myriad of services, including home health, ambulatory health centers, outpatient surgery centers, wellness activities, patient education, community outreach and hospice care. |
