Sports Medicine Fellowship
Mission Statement
To have a Primary Care sports medicine fellowship that teaches the knowledge and
skills that prepares the resident to evaluate and treat any sports medicine condition in a
variety of settings. This will be done in a mentoring environment in which the resident
will be treated as a colleague who has knowledge to gain and share. There will always
be a patient centered focus at the office, training room or sporting event. Patients will
be treated with respect while getting the best care possible. The fellowship will
continue to grow as we try to maximize our knowledge and skills.
